Odaily Planet Daily reported that, according to AXIOS, U.S. Vice President Vance “criticized Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s overly optimistic predictions regarding the U.S.-Israel-Iran conflict” during a phone call earlier this week, suggesting that Netanyahu “exaggerated the possibility of regime change in Iran.” The report cited a U.S. official who stated that before the U.S. and Israel attacked Iran, Netanyahu had portrayed the conflict to the U.S. as “easy to manage,” emphasizing that the “possibility of regime change in Iran is very high,” but Vance was skeptical about this. The official also mentioned that Vance “played a leading role” in the U.S.-Iran “ceasefire negotiations,” while Israel was trying to undermine the talks. (CCTV International News)
