In response to the threat that the United States and Israel may carry out ground invasion operations against Iran, Iran’s Islamic Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf made a tough statement on Friday, questioning whether the U.S. has the capability to protect U.S. troops entering Iranian territory, because even U.S. forces stationed at bases in the Middle East are unable to provide security guarantees.
In a post on social media, Qalibaf said that even American soldiers stationed at bases in the Middle East cannot be protected by the U.S. itself; the best it can do is hide them in hotels and parks.
