JD Jingzao's two products win the 2026 German iF Design Award
This report (Reporter Yuan Chuanxi) recently announced the winners of the German iF Design Award (iFDESIGN AWARD 2026), known as the “Oscar of the design world.” JD’s private label, Jingdong Jingzao, won this prestigious award with two original design products that deeply understand user needs: a three-in-one feeding station that integrates quantitative water output, milk warming, and sterilization drying, and the “Source of Breath” membrane cup developed in collaboration with Academician Fang Yu’s team from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, which removes formaldehyde.
This follows the recognition of Jingdong Jingzao’s original design capabilities with the silver award for the “Dream of Light” chandelier at the 2024 Muse Design Awards, the “Fortune at the Head” cookware series at the 2025 Muse International Design Awards, as well as accolades from the German Red Dot Award and the Italian A’ Design Award. The recognition of these two award-winning products showcases that China’s supply chain system is nurturing original design products with international standards. Both products began with deep insights into the genuine needs of specific user groups, elevating industrial design from mere aesthetic enhancement to a comprehensive solution that addresses real-life pain points.
The recognition from the German iF Design Award effectively verifies that China’s supply chain system is nurturing original design products with international standards. “Design” is no longer limited to aesthetic embellishment but starts with demand insights, responding to contemporary consumers’ concrete needs through technological research and development, production manufacturing, and sustainable applications.
