Starting from April 1, 2026, our country will implement the preferential tariff rates under the Early Harvest Arrangement of the Economic Partnership Agreement for the Republic of the Congo (Brazzaville).

People’s Financial News, March 26 - In order to fulfill the tariff reduction commitments under the “Arrangements for Early Harvest of the Economic Partnership Agreement between the Government of the People’s Republic of China and the Government of the Republic of Congo,” and according to the “Customs Law of the People’s Republic of China,” the Tariff Commission of the State Council has issued an announcement that starting from April 1, 2026, a preferential tariff rate will be implemented for certain imported goods originating from the Republic of Congo (Brazzaville). This initiative will further deepen China-Congo economic and trade cooperation and contribute to the construction of a high-level China-Congo community of shared future.
