BitMine’s Tom Lee Predicts Ethereum Could Hit $10,000 by 2025

Amid the current bearish sentiment surrounding the crypto market, Tom Lee co-founder of Fundstrat and President of BitMine, remains optimistic about the future price outlook of Ethereum

Lee predicted that ETH could reach $10,000 per token by year’s end, and potentially climb as high as $60,000 in the long term.

Bitmine Bets Big on ETH

BitMine’s latest actions show a strong belief in Ethereum’s future. On October 21, the company bought 63,500 ETH worth about $184 million at a time when crypto prices were down in the market. This came after it bought $281 million worth of the coin on October 19

BitMine now holds about 3.34 million ETH, representing 2.7% of all circulating Ethereum, making it the largest holder of coin in the corporate world. Notably, this aggressive accumulation started in June 2025, when Bitmine said it planned to keep a large part of its assets in Ethereum

Tom Lee explained that this move is part of a bigger plan to make Bitmine a leading institutional investor in Ethereum’s future growth. The company hopes to benefit from the token’s long-term rise and strengthen its position in the crypto market.

Tom Lee Predicts Big Gains for Bitcoin and Ethereum by 2025

Tom Lee is famous for making bold and often accurate market predictions. Back in 2018, he predicted that Bitcoin would hit $125,000 by 2022. Although the coin did not quite reach that mark, Bitcoin (BTC) came close to record highs, proving his forecast was not far off.

At the Token 2049 Conference in Singapore, Lee once again shared his optimistic outlook for Bitcoin and Ethereum. He believes Ethereum could eventually become more important than Bitcoin. It may lead the way in decentralized finance (DeFi) and the tokenization of real-world assets like property and company shares.

For Bitcoin, Lee expects a strong rally to between $200,000 and $250,000 by the end of 2025. As for Ethereum, while some analysts think its bull run is over, Lee completely disagrees. He predicts that ETH could rise to between $10,000 and $12,000 by December 2025 and reach as high as $60,000 in the long run.

Real-World Asset Growth Could Make Ethereum a Global Finance Leader

One major reason for Tom Lee’s positive view on Ethereum is the fast rise of real-world asset tokenization. This means turning traditional assets like houses, company shares, and bonds into digital tokens on the Ethereum blockchain.

By doing this, Ethereum could unlock huge amounts of value and open new financial opportunities. In the first half of 2025, the value of tokenized assets on Ethereum jumped from $8.6 billion to $25 billion.

Experts believe this number could grow to between $10 trillion and $600 trillion by 2030. Such growth would increase Ethereum’s transaction activity and make it even more important in global finance.

If Lee’s prediction is right, Ethereum could soon become the top platform for both digital and real-world asset growth, marking a new stage in blockchain-based finance.
