According to Gate News bot, Bloomberg reported that Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni is seeking the support of G7 leaders for a ceasefire in Gaza, pushing for a ceasefire again against the backdrop of escalating hostilities between Iran and Israel.
"Now is the moment when we can reach an agreement on a ceasefire in Gaza," she told reporters at the G7 summit held in Canada on Tuesday. "In recent days, I have expressed this idea to everyone I have spoken with, and there has been a consensus — to the point that this common position has been reflected in the G6's Middle East statement."
