Oasys releases technical roadmap focusing on three core directions of blockchain games
Oasys Releases Technical Roadmap to Promote Chain Game Development
Oasys, as a public chain platform focused on Web3 gaming, recently released its latest technical roadmap, aimed at addressing the technical challenges currently faced by blockchain games and outlining short-term and medium-term goals for future development.
Oasys's technical roadmap mainly focuses on three core areas: application data availability, layer two interoperability, and ecosystem scalability. These three areas target the key pain points in the current development of blockchain games.
In terms of game asset continuity, Oasys has proposed an innovative solution that mirrors game assets from layer two to layer one, ensuring permanent protection of user assets even if the layer two data is lost. This solution effectively addresses the data continuity issues brought about by modular architecture.
To address the interoperability between layer two networks, Oasys plans to introduce cross-chain bridges, universal data formats, and standardized APIs to achieve seamless connectivity between different layer two networks. This will enable users to freely transfer data and assets between different games within the Oasys ecosystem.
In terms of ecosystem scalability, Oasys collaborates closely with partners to provide them with the necessary tools and resources to support ecosystem development and lower technical barriers. Oasys has also launched the Verse Development Kit (VDK), allowing enterprises to quickly access preset ecosystem components, accelerating project development and deployment.
The technical roadmap of Oasys is divided into two phases: short-term ( within 1 year ) and medium-term ( 2-3 years ). In the short term, Oasys will focus on the standardization of game asset specifications, creating practical application cases, and providing the Verse development kit. The medium-term goals include addressing protocol layer issues, achieving interoperability between layer two networks, and providing more developer tools.
Currently, Oasys has made some progress in practical applications. For example, it launched the XPLA Verse Layer 2 network, introducing blockchain versions of the popular games "Summoners War" and "The Walking Dead: All-Stars". In addition, the blockchain game "Captain Tsubasa -RIVALS-", based on the IP of "Captain Tsubasa", has also officially launched on the Oasys platform.
In terms of expanding its ecosystem, Oasys recently reached a partnership with Japan's SBI Group to enhance its influence in the Japanese crypto gaming and NFT market. Previously, Oasys also established a partnership with Metabora SG, the Web3 gaming division of South Korean internet giant Kakao, to support its entry into the Japanese market.
These initiatives not only showcase Oasys's technological innovation and strategic vision in the blockchain gaming sector but also reflect its determination to collaborate with industry leaders to jointly promote the development of blockchain games. As the technological roadmap is gradually implemented, Oasys is steadily progressing towards the vision of establishing global standards for blockchain gaming, creating real value for players and developers, while bringing new experiences and opportunities to the gaming industry.
