CZ: Missed a meeting with Hyperliquid co-founder Jeff earlier this year due to setting the alarm incorrectly.

On October 13, CZ stated during a Threadguy interview on the 11th that although Jeff participated in the first season of the CEX incubator, CZ has never met Jeff in person. CZ also revealed that earlier this year, Ella Zhang, head of YZi Labs, attempted to arrange a meeting between CZ and Jeff. But "unfortunately, I set the alarm incorrectly and overslept." However, CZ stated that he does not regret missing that meeting, "They are already very successful and of high value. I do not think they are the right target for our acquisition; we do not make large-scale acquisitions. So far, the largest acquisition we have made might be CoinMarketCap, which was only a few hundred million dollars, and I believe they had already surpassed that scale at the time."
