Alts season index falls to 29
On October 16, according to Coinmarketcap data, the Altcoin Season Index fell to 29, having risen to 78 on September 20. The average for last week was 51, and the average for last month was 71. This index shows that in the past 90 days, about 29 projects among the top 100 Crypto Assets by market capitalization have outperformed Bitcoin. Note: The CMC Crypto Assets Altcoin Season Index is a real-time indicator used to determine whether the current cryptocurrency market is in an altcoin-dominated season. The index is based on the performance of the top 100 alts relative to Bitcoin over the past 90 days.
