The probability of the Fed cumulatively lowering interest rates by 50 basis points by December is currently reported at 65.4%, the probability of a cumulative reduction of 25 basis points is reported at 31.5%, and the probability of maintaining the interest rate unchanged is 3.1%.
The dates for the next two FOMC meetings of the Fed are October 29 and December 10.
