Liquid Capital founder Yihua Yi Li Hua established the AI fund OpenX Labs

GateNews

Gate News, April 8, Liquid Capital (formerly LD Capital) founder Yi Lihua announced the launch of the AI fund OpenX Labs, focusing on investing in and collaborating on AI projects. Yi Lihua said that previously he believed opportunities for primary-stage investments were becoming fewer, but now he believes the golden era of primary-stage investments has arrived. He noted that the AI era is providing enormous opportunities for top-tier founders; with small teams, they can achieve significant effectiveness and don’t need to spend too much energy on matters like management and hiring. As long as they have ideas and a strategy, startups in the AI era are on the same starting line as mid-sized companies. Yi Lihua said he hopes to devote more time to primary-stage investing next, learn alongside outstanding AI founders, and is willing to assist excellent AI projects without compensation, while AI has also given him a second chance at entrepreneurship and the motivation to do so.
