6 Entities Have Filed Applications for Ethereum Futures-based ETFs

Six entities, including Volatility Shares, Bitwise, VanEck, Roundhill, ProShares, and Grayscale, have filed applications with the SEC for ether futures-based ETFs. If approved, these ETFs will launch 75 days from the filing date, with Volatility Shares being the first on October 12. The excitement around crypto-related ETFs was triggered by the wave of applications for spot bitcoin ETFs, with Grayscale urging the SEC to approve all spot bitcoin ETF applications simultaneously for equal treatment.
