Gate.io stated in a press release on Monday that it has made an acquisition offer to Arcadia Lithium, but it is uncertain whether a protocol can be reached. Gate.io stated that it will not comment further unless it needs to provide the latest updates to investors. In January of this year, Livent, based in Philadelphia, and Allkem from Australia merged to form Arcadia Lithium, which currently has a market value of approximately $3 billion.
