Don't remind me again today

#数字货币市场回升 Eight years ago I entered the market with 5000U, and now the account has reached seven figures.

This is not a myth. I never predict price movements, nor do I stay up all night watching the candlesticks, nor have I ever encountered liquidation or theft of coins. It relies on a set of trading disciplines developed through hard work.

Let’s first talk about how to earn money—every time I make a profit of 10%, I immediately transfer half of the profit to a cold wallet. This money is considered non-existent. The other half continues to snowball in the account. During a bull market, let it run; during a bear market, at least half of the profits have already been secured. The principal is the lifeblood; if you can’t protect the principal, how can you talk about compound interest? Over the years, I have withdrawn profits more than thirty times, with the most intense being 180,000 U withdrawn in one week.

Let's talk about how to layout. The places where others get liquidated are often turning points. I will look at the overall direction on the daily chart, define the range on the 4-hour chart, and find specific entry points on the 15-minute chart. For the same cryptocurrency, I will open two orders: Order A follows the trend, while Order B is set up for a counter position. Each order's risk is controlled within 1.5% of the total capital. During market fluctuations, both sides can benefit from the volatility, while in a one-sided market, we rely on the right order to make significant gains. On the day LUNA collapsed, both of my positions hit take profit at the same time, and my account increased by 40% in one day.

The most important thing is actually the ability to admit defeat. My win rate is only 40%, but I can achieve a profit-loss ratio of 4:1, which means the expected value is positive in the long run. If the direction is correct, slowly push the take profit; if the direction is wrong, exit immediately. Divide the money into 10 portions, and use at most 3 portions at the same time. Continuous losses in two trades? Stop immediately, never increase the position out of stubbornness. If the account doubles, withdraw 20% to invest in some stable assets.

The market doesn't care how much you lose, but one loss of control can get you out. As long as you are still at the table, time will eventually be on your side. The truly skilled traders are not the ones who seize the most opportunities, but the ones who manage risk the best.

Damn, this risk control system is really incredible. Even with a 40% win rate, you can still win effortlessly. Maintaining this kind of mindset is truly not something just anyone can do.

It sounds like just sticking to discipline, nothing more than take profit, controlling risk, and admitting defeat. Can anyone really persist for eight years?

Win rate 40%, profit-loss ratio 4:1, I've calculated this math, and the expected value is indeed positive... However, the key is still to protect the principal and not to be tempted by the market to overtrade.

nah the real play is the 50/50 profit split into cold storage thing... that's actually not romance tier bs, that's actual risk management that separates survivors from the liquidation crowd. most people see gains and just leverage up like degenerates lol

A 40% win rate with a 4:1 profit-loss ratio, I can calculate this math, just don't know how long you can hold on.

Wow, this risk control awareness is really amazing. Why didn't I think of this 4:1 profit-loss ratio trick?

Well said, it's this 4:1 profit-loss ratio that is the way to go. The key is still that saying, as long as you're alive, there's a chance; if you're dead, there's truly nothing left. But bro, I can't learn your discipline; I often want to chase back my losses after two losing trades. Honestly, it's harder to stay alive than to predict the market. This trap risk control system sounds simple, but very few can make money by sticking to it.

To be honest, I have heard this logic too many times, but very few actually execute it. The key still lies in that phrase - the ability to admit defeat. Most people lose money because they stubbornly hold on, waiting for a Rebound.

Laughing and laughing, I ended up crying. What this guy is actually talking about is the art of stop loss, just packaged like a get-rich-quick story.

This guy is quite something; just looking at his take profit strategy shows he's a player. But to be honest, I believe in the logic of a 40% win rate with a 4:1 profit-loss ratio, the key is to survive long enough.
