Interoperability is becoming an important piece as AI agents, on-chain games, and all forms of Web3 applications begin to need to "travel" between different environments. I think this is a reasonable approach, especially when future AI agents will automatically move assets, optimize fees, and act on behalf of users. If the asset transfer layer is still slow and gets stuck between chains, then that experience will never truly be "AI native."

Somnia appears as an infrastructure layer to make this smoother, with processing speeds of up to 1M TPS and finality under 1 second. When Orbiter integrates Somnia, I expect DeFi and gaming applications to have a more seamless cross-chain liquidity flow, creating an environment suitable for real-time experiences.
