#ETH走势分析 $ZEC After almost ten years of grinding in this space, what left the deepest mark on me wasn’t the euphoria of my account doubling, but the three times I was brutally schooled by my own greed.
Every time I think back, it feels like a stab.
**First setback: The 2017 ETH bull run**
$BOB That day when $ETH soared to 3,800, I was floating. In my mind I was thinking, “Just another 200 bucks and this year’s rent is covered.” But the market never follows your script—it crashed to 3,100 in no time.
I stubbornly held on, like a gambler clinging to his last card. In the end, I only made a profit of 600U, basically working two weeks for nothing.
That’s when I realized: **Greed isn’t ambition, it’s a dull knife cutting your own flesh.**
$ORCA SOL shot up from $100 to $190. My finger hovered over the sell button, but in my head a voice said, “Wait for 220 before cashing out!”
And the result? Not only did it never hit 220, it crashed straight through 140.
Panicked, I closed my position and lost nearly twenty grand. That’s when I understood: **Holding longer won’t make you rich, it’ll just turn you into a gambler.**
**The third time, almost destroyed me: 2018**
$AKE That year the bear market was brutal, but I got brainwashed by all the “100x legend” hype and went all-in on a bunch of shitcoins. My account crashed from 60,000 to just 710.
That month, I almost couldn’t pay rent. Lying in my rented room at night, only daring to stare at the candlesticks by the lamp, the suffocating feeling still makes my scalp tingle when I think about it.
**I finally figured it out**: The market doesn’t kill people—you hand over the knife yourself.
When it’s up, you think “just wait a bit more.” When it’s down, you hope “it’ll bounce back.” Until your account is wiped out, and you realize—**greed was never about making you more, it was always about making you lose it all.**
Now I’ve crawled back out. What about you?
Will you keep being the retail trader who gets harvested, or will you be the one smiling at the end?

Damn, I was there for the 3800 wave too, but I had it even worse—I went all in at 4200 before getting out, and when I looked back, I realized I took a huge loss.

Oh, I know this story all too well. Back in 2017, I also hesitated and didn’t sell because my hands were shaking. Now, what I fear most are the words "let’s wait a bit longer."

This story sounds quite familiar. Back in 2018, I almost couldn't pay my rent either, but later I realized that even if I had sold early, I might not have made much profit.

Oh my god, that part in 2018 really hit me. I also went through something similar, from 60,000 down to 710. At that time, I thought I was done for.
