Don't remind me again today

ETHZilla made a recent move—spending $10 million to acquire a 20% stake in Karus.

This deal is quite interesting: a combination of $3 million in cash and $7 million in stock, amounting to a 20% share based on the fully diluted valuation. But the focus isn’t on the numbers—it’s on what they plan to do.

Karus has an AI risk pricing system specifically designed for credit assessment and underwriting modeling of auto loans. ETHZilla’s plan is to integrate this model into their own blockchain infrastructure—in short, allowing AI-screened auto loan assets to go directly on-chain, creating a risk-adjusted on-chain loan portfolio.

Tokenization of traditional financial assets has been talked about for years, but there are still very few cases that can truly run the full process of “risk control model → asset screening → on-chain issuance.” According to their timeline, we should see some initial results by 2026.

Whether the tech integration will actually work, and whether the market will accept on-chain auto loan products, are still two big questions that will need to be addressed as things progress.

7 million shares to bottom fish? That's quite a bold bet. Now it all depends on whether the AI risk control model can truly tame the car loan beast.

Is it for real, 7 million in stocks is that aggressive? Feels like ETHZilla wants to create the ultimate version of RWA. --- Car loans on-chain... sounds easy, but I'm really worried about whether the risk control model can actually run on-chain. --- Wait, we won't see results until 2026? That's a long gamble, but it is definitely a new approach. --- 20% equity plus AI risk control, looks like they're playing a big game. Ultimately, execution is key. --- On-chain car loans sound appealing, but I really don't know if traditional finance will buy into it. --- I get the logic, but has on-chain underwriting actually gone through a real cycle? Or is this just another round of hype? --- Putting the risk pricing system on-chain is pretty core. If it can really be implemented, then this move by ETHZilla is worth it.

hypothesis: this is basically the silk road reimagined but for risk-adjusted auto loans... bridging traditional finance's opacity with blockchain's transparency. kinda genius tbh, if the oracle networks actually cooperate 🤔

Is it true? 7 million in stocks is the main part? That's a pretty big bet... --- On-chain car loans again? Can this process really work? Feels like someone brings up this concept every year. --- I just want to know if there will be any surprises before 2026. Anyway, I'm just watching and waiting. --- Putting the risk control model on-chain sounds good, but will users trust it? That's the real question. --- What does 3 million in cash say? Still not that confident in their own stock. --- Once traditional financial assets get on-chain, they suddenly become attractive. I kind of buy this logic. --- Take it step by step? Sounds nice to call it exploration, but honestly, it just means uncertainty, haha.

Damn, finally someone has put traditional assets like car loans on-chain. People have been hyping this for a while, and now someone is actually doing it. With all the talk about risk control and AI, if they can actually make it work by 2026, that would be impressive. I’ll bet a penny it can succeed.
