Don't remind me again today

Sometimes the goal isn't victory—it's perpetuation. Conflicts generate cash flows that peacetime never could. A century ago, one of the most decorated military figures in American history put it bluntly: war operates like a business scheme where profits get counted in currency, but losses get measured in human lives. That calculation hasn't changed. The machinery keeps running not because battles need winning, but because the system profits from their continuation.

ngl this is the true face of capitalism... the perpetual motion machine of war, whoever profits will just fuel the flames.

ngl the perpetual conflict model is just textbook greater fool theory but with geopolitical leverage... actually if you read the contracts on defense spending, the vesting schedules literally guarantee continuous payouts regardless of outcomes. called this pattern months ago when everyone was still bullish on "peace premiums"

NGL, this is just the true face of capitalism. War will never stop because it's so damn profitable.
