Energy bills keep climbing, and people are furious. The criticism? Companies seem way more interested in padding shareholder pockets than actually fixing the grid. Infrastructure gets neglected while profits get prioritized—classic centralized playbook. Communities are pushing back hard, demanding accountability. When essential services become profit machines at users' expense, the backlash is inevitable. This whole situation highlights why decentralized alternatives are gaining traction. People want systems that serve users first, not boardrooms.

Central state-owned energy companies should have been taken advantage of long ago. They've been monopolizing for so many years and still remain the same. Web3 is truly the way out.

That's how centralization is, one vampire company after another. The more power they have, the greedier they get. Just look at how bad the energy infrastructure has gotten. Decentralized solutions really need to speed up, can't wait any longer. A system decided by a bunch of rich people, with the poor footing the bill—classic fleecing. Infrastructure? Forget it, dividends are the real business.

ngl this is exactly why web3 needs to shake things up—centralized stuff is just completely rotten.

honestly the incentive misalignment here is... let's just say historically precedent suggests this ends poorly. sub-optimal governance structures meet non-trivial externalities, and boom—stakeholder revolt. tbh tho, whether decentralization actually fixes it or just redistributes the same pathologies remains an open question imo

1. These days, all energy companies do is suck us dry—DeFi swooping in to save the day isn’t far off. 2. Aren’t all centralized players just scammers? Seriously, only on-chain governance can wipe out these parasites. 3. Wake up, people! The old-school infrastructure game is dead—do we really have to wait for Web3 to bail us out? 4. Same old story: shareholders > users. Let’s just start over on-chain, folks. 5. When people unite and go on-chain, nothing beats that—seriously.

ngl, centralized energy companies are just money-grabbing machines. Why is building infrastructure still so expensive...
