Poland is now the only EU member state that has not implemented MiCA, after its president vetoed the national crypto bill that would have aligned it with the EU framework.

What actually happened
Poland’s parliament passed a law to implement the EU’s Markets in Crypto‑Assets (MiCA) rules domestically, but President Karol Nawrocki vetoed it, citing concerns over civil liberties, domain‑blocking powers, and high fees for smaller firms. Lawmakers then failed to muster the supermajority needed to override the veto, which effectively reset the legislative process.
