One thing I love about crypto people is how they complain about macro reactions. Every time we get a rate cut or Jerome acts dovish, they all feel the same way — that it keeps going down and there’s no savior for this space. Any news, any data, it’s still bearish in theyr heads. But why do you even follow the crypto market in the first place if you’re trying to judge whether the market is strong or not?
How can a market with a total of $3T in market cap even be trusted? Just follow the SPX every positive dataset comes with positive consequences. Crypto gets the last drop of crap a cow leaves behind. When you want to read a market, you don’t start with crypto, and definitely not by following altcoins. You follow what’s leading, and what’s leading is accurately pricing macro data.
This is the reason why I’m bullish on crypto: it’s because I’m "still" bullish on the SPX — not the other way around.
