Today the whole internet is buzzing about some big news—a major travel influencer, Lan Zhanfei, revealed that he was kidnapped in South Africa. Reportedly, the kidnappers had been planning for half a year, bribing South African airlines, hotels, and police to meticulously orchestrate this abduction. Fortunately, Lan Zhanfei is physically safe; although he lost a lot of money, for him, as long as he's alive, money isn't really a problem.

This incident has deepened my fear of certain corners of the world. In comparison, our public security management is still pretty good. If there's any takeaway from this, it's probably not to flaunt wealth carelessly. There are still many hidden whales in the crypto space. In fact, if a KOL flaunts wealth randomly, it’s usually for a purpose and probably not real.

Let me clarify what I mean by mainstream assets. There are mainly two types. The first type includes assets like BTC and ETH, which have strong consensus and have been tested through several bull and bear cycles in the crypto market. The second type refers to projects with solid fundamentals that can generate real business revenue and have a decent market size; a typical example is BNB. I also personally recognize DeFi blue chips such as UNI and AAVE.
