Seeing the news about Lan Zhanfei reminded me of the kidnapping case in Europe a couple of years ago. The kidnappers turned out to be the most trusted people around the victim’s friend. In the end, after paying part of the ransom, the person was released. Experienced people said that if the full ransom had been paid, the victim would never have made it out.
The police froze the kidnappers’ wallets based on the address, but it wasn’t until more than half a year after the incident that it was reported by local European media.
So everyone agrees that our great motherland and Singapore have the best public security.
In Shanghai, you can drive a LaFerrari and no one will bother you, but in Europe, driving an M4 will get you targeted.
So when you’re out and about, always keep a low profile and don’t trust anyone.
