If it weren't for market makers and pump-and-dump schemes messing around, the market would have already fallen to disastrous levels.
It's precisely because of these behind-the-scenes manipulations that we see abnormal "pump and dump" price movements, specifically to harvest retail investors.
I was also forced to study counter-strategies after being repeatedly exploited, to be honest, it's quite frustrating.

yeah the MEV extraction game is basically just legalized front-running at this point... makers pump it to shake out retail then dump. capital utilization is obviously maximized on their end, opportunity cost for retail just keeps climbing lol

Market makers, these bastards really deserve to die, always using the same tricks
Retail investors are just like leeks, whose fault is it
Only after being cut can you understand, now I've also learned to read the charts, haha
Damn, needle pulling and inserting every day, so annoying
To put it simply, it's the institutions playing, and we're being played

Market makers are really outrageous, their techniques are getting more and more sophisticated
Only now do I realize this trick after being cut, a painful lesson
But thinking about it, it's also a form of enlightenment; learning something is better than losing money

Damn, it's these manipulative traders causing trouble again. Retail investors are truly like sheep waiting to be slaughtered.
