【PiTu】Nasdaq’s stock and crypto hybrid platform Robinhood just released its November earnings report — total platform assets rose to $325 billion. Although this is a 5% decrease from the previous month, over the full year, it surged by 67%.
However, there’s an interesting point in the crypto segment: November’s nominal trading volume was $28.6 billion, down 12% from October, and 19% lower compared to the same period last year. Breaking it down, $12 billion came from their own app, while $16.6 billion was from the acquired Bitstamp platform.
Trading volume is declining, but asset size is still increasing. Behind these numbers, either existing users are holding onto their coins without trading, or new funds are waiting on the sidelines. Market sentiment is indeed changing.

Asset prices are rising while trading volume is falling, now that's interesting. It seems everyone is waiting for the next big trend.

Asset prices are soaring, but trading volumes are declining. Isn't this a classic case of "more people, less money"? HODLers are just sitting and waiting.

Asset prices rise while trading volume falls. This data is a bit strange... Are existing users really not participating anymore?

Asset prices rise while trading volume falls—this logic is a bit surreal... Are existing users really that resistant to selling?
