An AI startup CEO just took a literal beating from his own humanoid prototype in what might be the wildest product demo this year. The guy actually stepped into the ring with their T800 unit and promptly got floored by a kick.

Why the physical showdown? Apparently they're dead serious about proving this thing isn't some fancy CGI trick. Nothing says "our robot is real" quite like getting your ribcage tested in front of cameras.

Goal achieved, I guess — though someone better check if that CEO needs an X-ray. Talk about commitment to transparency in the robotics space.

This guy is really tough; to prove that the robot isn't special effects, he got beaten up directly.

This guy is really ruthless, getting beaten up directly to prove that the robot isn't special effects?

Haha, this guy is really crazy. Did he really take a kick just to prove that the robot is real?

This guy is really crazy. Did he get kicked out just to prove the authenticity of the robot?

This marketing tactic is brilliant, really treating oneself as a prop.
