Canary Capital has some new moves— they have submitted a pre-effective amendment for the Staked SEI ETF to the SEC. This matter actually started being filed back in April of this year, and now it has reached a critical stage.

This revision mainly did two things: first, it responded to regulatory feedback adjustments; second, it updated the latest ecological developments of Sei in the prospectus. In simple terms, it made the compliance materials more solid, reducing concerns when institutional funds enter.

If this version of the revision passes approval, the threshold for institutions wanting to deploy SEI through formal channels will be lowered again.
