Terra Luna founder Do Kwon sentenced to 15 years in prison

The founder of the Terra ecosystem, Do Kwon, has been officially sentenced to 15 years in prison for his role in the Luna collapse and has been handed over to law enforcement for execution. This verdict has sparked widespread attention in the cryptocurrency community.

From Luna's peak to ecosystem collapse and the founder facing legal sanctions, the entire chain of events reflects the seriousness of project governance, risk management, and accountability. Many believe this judgment serves as a warning—no matter how large the project or how strong the fundraising ability, illegal operations and improper incentives will ultimately face consequences.

However, some argue whether a 15-year sentence is enough for an incident that caused billions of dollars in user losses. This case also serves as a reminder to investors: paying attention to project governance structures, founder backgrounds, and risk mechanisms is far more important than being attracted by high promises.

15 years? Losing billions of dollars and that's it? Feels a bit light... I also didn't escape during the Luna wave. Now that Do Kwon has been sentenced, I don't feel much satisfaction; I just think what was supposed to happen, happened. Another story where "Next time for sure" turns into "This time I just got in directly"... So many people hyped Luna before, and now? Don't be fooled by the fundraising amount; looking at project governance is the real key. After doing such a big thing, only 15 years? Small investors like us lost quite a bit of money. This is what Web3 is all about, lesson learned for sure... Honestly, more than sentencing, I want to know when user compensation will have a clear answer. The lesson from the Luna incident is: no matter how attractive the APY sounds, dare to say no; even big projects need to study the founder's temperament. Just another "legend" in the crypto world going to jail. Next month, there will probably be a new scandal.

15 years? Hundreds of millions of dollars lost, and that's all? Feels still too light... Do Kwon should reflect on his radical approach. This incident is probably a lesson for all shitcoin founders. I also got caught in the Luna wave. Now I think twice before investing in any project... Advice to everyone: don't be fooled by high APY; governance structure is what really matters. Another story of "I thought I was the chosen one"... 15 years of changing so many people's fortunes, truly worth contemplating what fairness really means.

Fifteen years is too cheap. Can this guy's scammed money compensate the victims? --- Do Kwon really deserves to go in, but isn't the sentencing a bit lenient? --- So it still depends on whether the founders are trustworthy; high-yield promises are all scams. --- Wait, is it over in just 15 years? The people who lost money in Luna must be really upset. --- This was a warning, but future offenders will still fall into the same traps, honestly. --- Why does it feel like the sentencing is a bit light... only a few billion dollars in losses? --- Finally, someone has gone to jail, but many project founders are still at large. --- Basically, don't get blinded by high promises; you need to do your homework thoroughly. --- This Luna incident really made me lose trust in high-yield stablecoins forever. --- Fifteen years vs. billions in losses, no matter how you count, it's a loss.

15 years? Billions of dollars lost and only serve 15 years? This deal is really cost-effective. Do Kwon has truly become a negative example, vividly showing you what "My fate is determined by myself, not by heaven." Back then, how many people went all in on Luna? Now they have all become astronomical tuition fees. This matter is actually just selling stories to retail investors. Anyway, the ones who end up unlucky are still us small investors. Will there be another chance to cut another wave after 15 years? Hopefully not.
