Urgent alert: ZEROBASE platform has been hacked, and phishing contracts are wreaking havoc on BNB Chain

【Blockchain Rhythm】On December 12th, a major exchange wallet team urgently issued a security alert that the ZEROBASE platform encountered a front-end hacking incident. Hackers infiltrated the official website front end, creating fake interfaces to trick users into authorizing malicious smart contracts. This method is highly covert, and many users unknowingly had their assets authorized and compromised.

The severity of the incident lies in the fact that numerous phishing contracts impersonating ZEROBASE official have appeared on BNB Chain. These fake contracts specifically target mainstream tokens like USDT for authorization scams. Once users grant permission, hackers can transfer the related assets from the wallet at any time.

The wallet team has activated three emergency response mechanisms: fully blocking involved malicious website domains, adding phishing contract addresses to the risk list, and sending danger alerts to potentially affected users within 30 minutes.

Immediate Action Recommended: Open your wallet app and check your authorization records on the assets page. Any unfamiliar contract authorizations should be revoked immediately, especially those you never actively approved. This is the last line of defense to prevent asset theft. Similar phishing incidents are common, so stay alert.

Once again, the front end has been attacked. How bad is this tactic? Are wallets now responding so quickly? Really? This time is so serious? Quickly check my authorization limits. ZEROBASE has exploded again. Hacks are a daily occurrence in this circle. It took 30 minutes to push the alert. It's too slow; I have to safeguard my wallet myself. I stopped clicking on unfamiliar links long ago to avoid authorization scams. Hackers are at it again. How did BNB Chain get compromised once more? Which incident is this week? It's truly hard to defend against everything. The front end was directly taken over, indicating a major security vulnerability. You still need to learn how to check contract addresses and not click on random links. Losing USDT authorization is upsetting. I must revoke it immediately. Hackers’ methods are so dirty—after tricking authorization, they transfer assets away. Nowadays, using an exchange isn't as reassuring as doing your own research (DYOR).

Is this routine again? Every time it’s so miserable, ZEROBASE really can’t hold on this time. --- Damn, phishing contracts are here to harvest again. These black hats on BNB Chain never stop. --- People get trapped every day. Basically, it’s because they carelessly approve transactions. Who told you to authorize so freely? --- A 30-minute push notification? By then, the funds had already been transferred out. Better to stay more alert yourself. --- Seeing this kind of thing so often, I’ve become numb. Mainstream platforms can’t even defend against it. Web3 is really a big casino. --- How did ZEROBASE get hacked in just one round? Better check your wallet quickly to see if there’s any issue. --- The hacker’s operation is pretty detailed. Anyone would get caught. I’ve definitely learned my lesson. --- It’s another approve trap. When will this process ever change? It’s too easy to get scammed.

It's another front-end attack; I'm really tired of this routine. --- Whoa, ZEROBASE also got hit? Phishing contracts are really hard to defend against. --- 30-minute alert push? That's a bit slow, brother. --- I just want to know how they let hackers in. What about security audits? --- Authorization is really a trap; one misstep and it's gone. --- There are especially many fake contracts on the BNB chain now, gotta be more careful. --- Looking at the situation, ZEROBASE is in deep trouble this time. --- Why do people keep getting caught on phishing contracts? Don't they check the addresses? --- I've encountered this kind of phishing method before, luckily I didn't fall for it. --- The most disgusting part of front-end attacks is that they look completely genuine.

Here are several comments in different styles: --- Here we go again, this time with ZEROBASE. When will it finally stop? --- No way, really? Quickly check the authorizations in your wallet, I need to take a look. --- Frontend attacks are now everywhere, are people still falling for them? --- There are so many phishing contracts on BNB Chain, should exchanges do something about it? --- What’s the point of a 30-minute push? It’s probably been transferred already. --- Oh my god, USDT is also targeted now. Is no one safe anymore? --- I knew it, constantly approving weird stuff. Now I regret it too late.

Here comes again, here comes again. This ZEROBASE is really good at causing trouble. The front end can be broken? I already said that small platforms like this are extremely risky. Sure enough, a bunch of people have been trapped by authorization, so pitiful. Quickly check your wallet, don't become the next victim. These days, even USDT can't be fully protected, so be extra careful. Blacklisting domains is too slow; security alerts should have been issued earlier. This is why I never deal with small coin exchanges; it's too damn dangerous. Front-end attack protection is practically useless. Who's responsible? You still need to use a hardware wallet to feel safe. Software wallets are really hard to trust. See? Phishing contracts on the BNB chain are getting more and more vicious, it's impossible to defend against them.
