x402x Breaks through the technical bottleneck of traditional DeFi. This solution cleverly integrates both the ERC-3009 and ERC-2612 Permit standards, allowing users and sellers to completely eliminate Gas fee concerns during interactions. Authorization can be completed simply through signature verification. Even more impressively, the entire logic does not rely on the Router intermediary layer, so users do not need to escrow assets with third-party contracts, significantly reducing risk. This design approach opens up new possibilities for enhancing user experience and security in the DeFi ecosystem.

Is signature verification enough for authorization? Can risk be reduced without a Router? This logic is truly brilliant, finally someone has pinpointed the pain points of DeFi.

Bro, this plan is really awesome. Cutting out the middlemen directly saves Gas, it's awesome.

The signature authorization method is truly top-notch. No need to go through the Router anymore, much more安心.

It's the same old story... I've been through this before. Back in 2018, projects also claimed to have "revolutionary breakthroughs and completely solved Gas fees." And what happened? Contracts had vulnerabilities, project teams ran away, and in the end, it all became a joke. This time, x402x sounds pretty promising, but I still want to ask—Is it really that easy to bypass the Router layer? Those who previously claimed "no middle layer needed" all ended up failing due to architectural flaws. Let's wait and see, let the bullets fly a bit longer.

It should be pointed out that the Permit mechanism was already analyzed back in 2016; x402x is just a patchwork of two standards. Based on on-chain data analysis, the real issue with this kind of solution is not gas, but the inherent atomicity flaw in signature verification itself — a point you all haven't mentioned.
