I don't think the trend over the past year is a typical top of a bull market. At the same time, I observe that BTC.D has a significant downward trend, which means that allocating to altcoins offers a higher cost-performance ratio.
These are all large-cap assets that can withstand cycles; it's just that the current bull market's "bloodsucking" effect on Bitcoin has led to an underestimation. Looking at the monthly chart, all are near new highs. In fact, they are all in a wide-range oscillation near a new high.
