The truth about value investing is worth reflecting on

Common investment rhetoric packages value investing as sacred, but once you peel back the layers, its core is simply a buy low, sell high trading logic. Instead of following advice from successful figures like Buffett, it's better to study gambling probability theory—the fundamental idea is actually quite similar.

That might be an overstatement, but the reality is: if Buffett had been trading derivatives in the crypto space since 2017, he probably wouldn't have avoided losses. The applicability of value investing theory in the crypto market is limited; volatility and unpredictable factors far exceed those in traditional finance.

Rather than blindly learning so-called investment philosophies, it's better to admit that this is a game of probabilities. Understanding trading logic, risk management, and market psychology—practical knowledge—may help you survive in the crypto space more than rigidly adhering to value investing theories. Of course, going back to farming is always the safest choice.

Haha, Buffett would have been wiped out in the crypto world a long time ago. This statement has no flaws.

Well said. The value investing approach really doesn't fit in the crypto space; during fluctuations, it's just impossible to withstand.

If Buffett really enters the crypto space, that would be a joke—going all-in on a contract and getting liquidated immediately.

Honestly, the crypto world is just a casino. Using Buffett's approach here is just asking for self-destruction.

Exactly right. The crypto world doesn't really apply that set of theories, relying purely on luck and mental resilience. Even Buffett would have to kneel in the crypto space; the rules here are completely different. Value investing is a joke here; in the face of volatility, everyone is equal. Instead of listening to experts brag, it's better to think about your own trading logic. Really, risk management is the key to survival. The crypto market is just a gamble; acknowledging this allows you to stay clear-headed. It's just a probability game, don't overcomplicate it.

Well said, the crypto world is a game of probabilities; blindly holding on is just armchair strategizing.
