On December 15th, ZachXBT posted a disclosure stating that during the investigation, he noticed a clear correlation between the decentralized derivatives trading platform edgeX and some market-making and funding networks active around CEXs. Meanwhile, he proposed a working hypothesis that this network may be related to previous attacks launched against Hyperliquid through projects like Jelly Jelly, Zerebro, and others. Currently, this assessment is still based on on-chain and trading behavior analysis and awaits further evidence confirmation. Additionally, Amber Group explicitly listed edgeX as one of the first incubation projects in its accelerator program amber.ac, and its official X account also claims to be an permissionless liquidity network incubated by Amber Group.
