Million-dollar-level ETH sell-off! Whales repay loans on Aave, still holding $110 million in assets

Abstract generation in progress

【BiTi】A big whale has been quite busy lately. According to on-chain data monitoring, this address starting with 0×280 made a significant transaction—selling 10,000 ETH in one go, at a price of $2,916 each, directly converting to $29.16 million USDT. It seems to be repaying a loan, and the move was quite decisive.

But this whale’s days are obviously not that tense. Even after selling this large amount, it still holds 40,597 ETH on Aave V3, which, at current prices, totals nearly $120 million. With such a scale, a whale active in DeFi draws plenty of attention with every move.

Selling 29.16 million is not enough, still holding 120 million, this whale really isn't short of money...

Sold $29.16 million to repay the loan, leaving the account with 120 million... Now that's a real whale. We workers can't even get a sip of soup.

Selling 29.16 million to pay off? Is this whale really liquidating, or just repositioning? It sounds like the account's 120 million isn't just for show.

Selling 29.16 million is just a drop in the bucket, holding onto 120 million... now that's real wealth.

Throwing away 29.16 million to pay off the debt in one go? This guy really isn't short of money. The remaining ETH is enough for us retail investors to last three generations.

Sold for 29.16 million and still have a loan, holding 120 million in hand. Now that's what you call really not short of money... Retail investors can only envy.
