Copy trading review, following people, learning logic


Recently experienced Gate's copy trading feature, deliberately choosing a trader with a steady style and strict drawdown control, rather than the one with the steepest profit curve. During the process, I observed his opening and closing logic, rather than just focusing on profit and loss.

As a result, the overall returns during this period were moderate, but what I gained the most was the mindset: he rarely goes all-in, rarely adds positions consecutively, and never reacts emotionally by reversing trades. Looking back, the true value of copy trading is not “copying the work,” but comparing it to your own trading habits. Where am I too impatient? Where am I overconfident?
