Exodus partners with MoonPay to launch a stablecoin payment solution, aiming to go live in January 2026

[Crypto World] Wallet service provider Exodus and payment solution provider MoonPay are teaming up to make some moves in the stablecoin space. The two plan to launch a dollar-pegged stablecoin jointly issued and managed by MoonPay and M0.

This coin has significant use cases—it serves as the foundation for Exodus Pay, a new product. What is Exodus Pay aiming for? It’s about enabling users to complete everyday payments with crypto assets, simply put, giving the coin some practical use cases.

According to the schedule, they plan to launch officially in January 2026, but the prerequisite is to get regulatory approval. Frankly, stablecoins with payment features involve compliance issues, and regulatory approval is unavoidable.

Looking at the entire industry, stablecoin payments indeed have potential. Major exchanges are all laying out payment ecosystems. Although Exodus’s move is somewhat late, with its wallet infrastructure and MoonPay’s experience in deposits and withdrawals, there is some room for imagination. However, whether they can truly open up the market still depends on regulatory stance and market acceptance.

Alright, another dream of stablecoin payments. Let's wait and see if it can really take off in January next year. Regulation is the key; all other efforts are pointless.

another stablecoin utility play... sure, let's see if they actually solve the velocity trap this time around. 2026 is generous though, regulatory gauntlet usually eats timelines for breakfast.

January 2026? Man, that timeline is a bit optimistic. Will the regulators really cooperate that much? Stablecoin payments have been everywhere for a while now. Why would Exodus be able to overtake them... It's probably another story of launching next year and disappearing the year after... If it really can be implemented, direct wallet payments would indeed be convenient, but I still don't believe it. Is MoonPay's stuff reliable? Have you heard of any controversies before?

January 2026? Hold on, will the regulators really give the green light?

Another story of stablecoin payments; regulation is really unavoidable. It's still early for 2026; by then, how competitive will this track be? Exodus has some advantages in wallet infrastructure; it just depends on whether they can pass the review. Projects like these are always waiting for regulation; it’s honestly a bit exhausting. Payment scenarios are a pseudo-demand, right? Do users really need to pay with coins?

Another stablecoin payment dream, by 2026 even the daylilies will have withered Regulation is really a big pit, it sounds good but is hard to implement Someone should have done this earlier, Exodus wallet has a solid user base The question is, will users actually pay with crypto? Or is it just another hype Being late to start isn't a problem, but being shelved again is, these kinds of projects die very quickly I'm just waiting to see if there's any real delivery, don't let it be another PPT coin
