Why is cryptocurrency easier to surpass traditional finance and AI startups?

Abstract generation in progress

【Blockchain Rhythm】There’s an interesting perspective: the comeback opportunities in the cryptocurrency industry are truly greater than in any other sector.

A comparison makes it clear. Traditional finance? The barriers are terrifyingly high, resources are concentrated in a few institutions, and newcomers simply can’t get in. AI startups are also challenging, requiring massive computing power, data, and chip costs, making it a resource-intensive industry. Competition in these sectors has long been settled.

But cryptocurrency is different. Zero barriers to entry, and creating communities or protocols isn’t demanding. The key point is that most players in the industry are still in the early stages, and the ecosystem is continuously evolving. What does this mean? It means opportunities are really right there, and as long as you have ideas, anyone could become the next rising project.

That's true, but after all these years of hearing that, only a few have truly succeeded in turning things around; most still got cut off.

That's right, crypto indeed has a low barrier to entry, but don't forget that 99% of projects have failed.

Zero barrier to entry sounds great, but the projects that can truly survive are painfully few.

Haha, I've heard this argument many times. Every bull market, it's the same story. It's not wrong to say that, but it's not entirely absolute either. Zero barrier ≠ zero risk, brother.

Sounds pretty good, but the ones that can really make it big are still the projects in the hands of those few big players...

Well, at first glance, this logic seems smooth, but one thing needs to be clarified—zero barriers and many opportunities are two different things. Low technical barriers ≠ high success probability; there's a misconception here.
