Circle launches Arc Developer Fund, targeting five major innovative application scenarios

Abstract generation in progress

[Crypto World] Stablecoin leader Circle has recently made major moves. They officially launched the Arc Developer Fund, allocating dedicated funds through Circle Ventures, and partnered with a network of investment institutions to focus on supporting early-stage teams building applications on the Arc internet financial operating system.

What is the core logic of this fund? In simple terms, Circle aims to accelerate ecosystem prosperity by identifying projects that truly understand Arc’s unique architecture and can fully leverage its advantages. According to official disclosures, the key supported areas include five categories:

First, on-chain markets based on low-latency architecture—solving traditional market pain points through efficient trading infrastructure; Second, real-world assets and private credit markets—this is a critical battleground for the future of DeFi, bringing financial flows back on-chain; Third, on-chain foreign exchange liquidity combining Circle StableFX and Circle Payments Network—creating new cross-border payment channels; Fourth, commercial applications serving intelligent agents and the machine economy—this cutting-edge direction reflects the trend of AI×Web3 integration; Fifth, energy and computing protocols driven by deterministic settlement—involving innovations at the infrastructure layer.

From these five directions, it’s clear that Circle is paving the way for the next generation of financial infrastructure. It’s not just about stablecoins themselves, but using stablecoins as primitives to unlock a larger application ecosystem. For developers, this fund could be a great entry point into the Arc ecosystem.

There's something interesting in the low-latency on-chain market; finally, someone is tackling the real bottleneck.

On-chain foreign exchange is indeed interesting, but can it really be implemented in practice?
