However, he also poured cold water on the optimism: most of these products will not last long.
What is the current situation? There are already more than 126 ETP applications awaiting approval from the SEC in the United States, while issuers are rapidly launching products. What does this mean? There will be a severe oversupply of products.
The analyst’s prediction is straightforward: a wave of liquidations will come. The timing could be around the end of 2026, but more likely before the end of 2027.
