Former Alameda CEO Caroline Ellison's imprisonment change, expected to be released 9 months early

Abstract generation in progress

【Blockchain Rhythm】The follow-up to the FTX saga is here. Former Alameda CEO Caroline Ellison has moved from prison to an open correctional facility, and news about this development surfaced on December 18.

Last November, she was sentenced to two years in prison for defrauding FTX investors, but the transfer happened quite quickly—after serving only 11 months, she was transferred in October this year. Even more surprising, her original release date was set for November 2026, but it was now moved up to February 2026, a full 9 months earlier. She is still under supervision, possibly house arrest or in a rehabilitation facility. Such a reduction in sentence usually indicates good behavior or some reason for sentence reduction.

This reduction speed is truly incredible. After just 11 months, he's already being transferred out. It seems someone inside has indeed been performing actively.

Transformed to an open-ended one in just 11 months? Did this girl do some big business inside? Haha Released from prison 9 months early, the reduction in sentence is quite significant. Could there be some insider information? SBF is still holding on, while Caroline here is already starting to enjoy. Honestly, it's a bit unfair. Cooperating with the investigation? Or is she really performing well... Who would believe that? Is this what they call "good reform"? I think it's more like "laying a good foundation."

This is outrageous. After only 11 months of detention, you can transfer to open custody? So rich people don't go to prison the same way?

Does this girl have some kind of good luck? She was detained for less than a year and is able to get out? Is there any inside information, everyone? Why can the sentence be shortened so much? Why does SBF get such good treatment? Compared to him... 11 months and then transferred to an open institution, the progress is a bit too fast. Is this what they call "good behavior"? I always feel it's not that simple. Getting out of prison 9 months early, the FTX case is becoming more and more surreal. I'm telling you, the speed of handling this is indeed a bit outrageous. So there are also different levels in prison, and the treatment can be so vastly different?

Wow, you can get your sentence reduced so quickly? Did Caroline find an insider or what? 11 months transferred + 9 months early, feels a bit too smooth SBF is still struggling, how is it going on his side? This script is ridiculous, I should have run earlier if I had known.
