Multichain legacy fund thawing in progress, users have successfully reclaimed over 80,000 USDC.

[Block Rhythm] has more good news. The encryption wallet Rabby Wallet officially confirmed that a user successfully retrieved 85,740 USDC that had been locked in Multichain for over a year. This means that even if the original front-end page is no longer accessible, users can still recover assets scattered in DeFi protocols through tracking and extraction.

Let’s review the background. In 2023, the cross-chain routing protocol Multichain project directly collapsed, causing an abnormal outflow of approximately 125 to 130 million USD in assets at that time, and the remaining funds were mostly in a state where they could not be withdrawn at all. On the user side, there was a sea of lamentations.

But the situation is gradually improving. In May 2025, the Singapore High Court agreed to the liquidation application of the Multichain Foundation. As the liquidation process progresses, some previously frozen or locked funds have started to be unfrozen one after another. In particular, assets that were not transferred by hackers and were not seized by law enforcement agencies are now basically available for withdrawal.

This case has given hope to other users who are still waiting - as long as the assets are still on the chain, there is always a chance to recover them.

Ha, finally someone got saved, that wave of Multichain last year was really something. That time with Multichain was indeed ruthless, almost thought it was permanently GG. Court liquidation is better than nothing, but the efficiency... come on. It took over a year to retrieve it, whether it counts as gg group is hard to say. But as long as there are ideas, there is hope; this might serve as a reference for future victims. Rabby's operation this time was also tough, the guy who got saved should send a thank-you letter.

Wow, finally someone got rescued, I thought this money was just going down the drain. This guy is really lucky, over 80,000 USDC, enough to eat steak for a year. The Multichain incident was truly a nightmare, so many people got trapped back then, and now the court is finally taking action. By the way, is there any other way to dig out my coins? I’m asking for advice from the pros. Finally seeing a glimmer of hope, this past year has been really tough.

Wait, can we really recover over 80,000 U? Is this just another false hope? It feels like the Multichain situation has dragged on too long. This guy is quite lucky. I just want to know how ordinary users should operate. Finally, someone has exited the pit. It seems there is still hope for liquidation. To be honest, when the initial crash happened, I thought I had lost everything.

Wow, did over 80,000 USDC really get saved back? This guy must be really amazing, I gave up on my transaction long ago... The mess with Multichain is really something else, it’s only slowly being unraveled now... The court's involvement finally gives a bit of hope, why didn’t they do this sooner? Now we have to go through the process of tracking and withdrawing again, so annoying. By the way, how much money is still stuck in there waiting to die?

Wait, over 80,000 USDC really got rescued? I thought this money would be gone for life... --- It seems there's a turning point in the Multichain issue, those who had long given up hope must be stunned. --- Now the locked assets have a chance of recovery, the court's actions are somewhat effective. --- I just want to know how much more can be recovered, I hope it's not just a drop in the ocean. --- Sigh, last year's incident was terrifying, only now can we gradually get it back, it's heartbreaking.
