Large Investors Holdings of 4 million ETH face risks: may fall to 1800 USD in early 2026.

[Coin World] A large Ethereum holder has just surpassed 4 million ETH, accounting for 3.37% of the total network share. This institution plans to keep its holdings below 5% to prevent dumping from impacting liquidity—this logic is very clear.

But the risks have arrived. According to internal analysis from a well-known research institution, considering the adverse factors of the global macro economy, Ethereum may face a wave of deep adjustments in early 2026, with the price range potentially falling back to 1800 to 2000 dollars. This may not sound surprising, but it would be a disaster for institutions holding large amounts of ETH — just this drop would shrink asset values by nearly 5 billion dollars.

The more troublesome aspect is that losses of this scale usually have a direct impact on stock prices, causing tangible harm to the financial statements of institutions. It seems that large investors need to prepare mentally this year, as market uncertainty remains significant.

4 million ETH still afraid of dumping? Really think of yourself as a god? Steady, this wave is just waiting to buy the dip in 2026, cheap goods come like this. $1800? Dreaming, this research institution wants to buy the dip, right? Large Investors' psychological construction? Why not just admit defeat, haha. Hearing about $5 billion shrinking sounds great, just don't know what will happen if it really occurs. This logic, controlling below 5%, are they afraid of dumping themselves? What happened to the promised institutional risk control? Now it all relies on "psychological construction"?

4 million ETH get dumped, 5 billion dollars evaporate, this is what we often call "holding the coin roller coaster" guys. I saw worse in 2018, back then I was also trapped badly. Large Investors in this wave either hold on for dear life or accept their losses and walk away, there is no third option.

4 million ETH getting dumped really hurts, 5 billion USD just vanished like that? --- Dropping to 1800 in early 2026? That's hilarious, it's already dropped before --- I really don't trust this logic... Do institutions really act this honestly? --- 5 billion USD shrinking, the financial report can't look good, haha --- Preventing dumping, huh? I see it's more about wanting to rug pull --- Large Investors must be unable to sleep now, their mental preparation is far from enough --- 1800 USD? I actually think it will be worse, who believes this research institution's internal analysis? --- With such a large stake still pretending to be stable, that's really interesting --- 3.37% share across the network saying to prevent dumping, come on --- Shrinking by 5 billion is indeed catastrophic, no wonder they want to control it below 5%.

5 billion gone, how upset must these Large Investors be? --- 1800 dollars? Sounds easy, but dumping is the real despair. --- Controlling 5% still can’t hold, this macro thing is unavoidable for anyone. --- Once the financial report comes out, Rekt, the institutions must do a Rug Pull, right? --- 2026 is still far away, what's the panic now? Just survive until next year and talk then. --- Large Investors are also scared, which shows this wave is not a small adjustment. --- Account value shrank by 5 billion, how many people are going to Cut Loss? --- The liquidity killer has arrived, and the short positions are laughing madly. --- Why are these research institutions so pessimistic? Is there insider information? --- 400,000 coins can’t be controlled, must be offloading goods, I guess.

These Large Investors are really overthinking it; whether there will be dumping or not is still up to the market. Will it fall to 1800 in 2026? Wake up, there will be new stories by then. Hearing about 5 billion dollars shrinking sounds scary, but that's the cost of holding coins. Psychological preparation? It's better to directly DCA to diversify risk; it's more realistic than waiting for prophecies.
