A while ago, I came across something quite interesting. I usually skip projects backed by big corporations, but the presentation of this project made me stop and take a closer look.
The project is called NVIDIA Compute Network, abbreviated as NCN, and it is currently conducting a token pre-sale. At first glance, it seems like a typical "riding the wave" tactic, but a closer look reveals that the approach is a bit different.
First of all, its marketing strategy—or rather, almost no marketing strategy at all. No overwhelming ads, no celebrity endorsements, no trending topics. Instead, the released information focuses on solid technical logic.
What is the core message of the project? It’s not about how much the coin price can rise, but about how to truly connect GPU computing power to the blockchain. It has designed a mechanism called Proof of Compute—GPU contributors provide computing power to run real AI tasks, and the system distributes rewards based on actual contribution, rather than virtual computing power data games.
From this perspective, it’s more like building a computing infrastructure network, and coincidentally, this network issued a token, rather than the other way around. These types of projects often have a very tight window for presentation, but those who want to understand thoroughly will make early moves before the window closes.
To be honest, I don’t plan to hold a large position myself, nor will I be calling for others to buy. But before this window truly closes, it’s worth taking the time to clarify—what problem is this project actually solving?
From the Proof of Compute mechanism, it’s indeed doing real work, not the typical copycat money-grabbing approach
Just the fact that there’s "no marketing" is worth pondering, it actually shows some substance
The window period is indeed tight, but jumping in without understanding it thoroughly is just pure gambling, forget it
Distribution based on actual contribution makes sense
If the on-chain computing power can really be implemented, it’s more worth watching than those pure financial games.
I agree not to hold a heavy position, but the window period really needs to be quickly clarified.
