Strategic Reserve清仓WBTC转向WETH,亏损近200万美元

Abstract generation in progress

【Block Rhythm】On-chain analysis data shows that a certain Strategic Reserve address has recently made a big move — the $15.07 million worth of WBTC borrowed from a lending protocol has been fully converted into WETH.

This operation marks the complete liquidation of the WBTC position. According to on-chain data, these Bitcoin tokens were purchased on January 2nd last year at an average price of $104,710.55. The timing of this sale seems less than ideal — resulting in a loss of $1.978 million.

In contrast, the newly established WETH position acquired a total of 4,611.65 ETH tokens, with an average cost of $3,260.88. The switch from WBTC to WETH may reflect a new judgment on the market’s future trend. Such large-scale position adjustments often provide insights for retail investors and are worth paying attention to regarding the moves of major market players.

Lost 2 million and still dare to switch tracks? That move is truly incredible. I can't understand it, but I'm deeply shocked. Missed the bottom, now chasing high and switching to WETH... Is this what they call a big player? Wait, clearing BTC to switch to WETH? Does this guy think Bitcoin will fall? $1.978 million, brother. How long do I have to keep trading to break even with this loss? Basically, it's just another way of chasing gains and cutting losses. Is the Strategic Reserve betting that ETH will surge even more later? I don't believe it. This timing is way off. I was planning to buy the dip, but now I dare not move at all. So, is Bitcoin's short-term top in, or are they especially bullish on Ethereum?

Haha, this guy directly demonstrated what "buying at the top and selling at the bottom" means— a professional guide to avoiding pitfalls. Losing 2 million to switch to a new coin— isn't that just another way of paying tuition? From BTC to ETH— is he betting that Ethereum can bounce back? Or has he already given up? Speaking of which, if big players are playing like this, what are we retail investors supposed to learn... just not to follow this approach.

Losing 2 million yet still daring to switch? I just don't understand this move. Are you really optimistic about Ethereum's future? --- Big players cut losses and switch, retail investors still follow suit? I advise everyone to wake up. This might not be a real signal. --- Switching from BTC to ETH, does this mean you're really bearish on Bitcoin? That's interesting. --- $1.978 million just gone, I'm f***ing shattered. This is truly a loss-making trade. --- This move looks like a forced liquidation, right? Tight debt positions? --- Over 4,600 ETH, if it rises to 5,000, they'll make a killing. But right now, it's just a loss. --- Even the Strategic Reserve can be mistaken? Then we small investors definitely can't see clearly, haha. --- Losing 2 million and still switching, how confident must you be in ETH? --- Is this really some kind of insight, or just pure gambling, everyone? --- Switching between mainstream coins, it's just betting on the trend. Why so frequent?

Lost 2 million and still dare to move? Looks like they are really optimistic about Ethereum. --- WBTC directly liquidated to WETH... this buy and sell isn't very smart haha. --- Wait, this big investor is losing so much and still operating? Is there insider information? --- Running from BTC to ETH, did they sense a change in the market... --- Losing 1.978 million and switching coins without blinking, this move is indeed extraordinary. --- I might as well learn to do the opposite. --- Such a large-scale liquidation, could it be that they are bearish on Bitcoin?

Lost 2 million and still dare to switch to WETH? Is this guy bearish on Bitcoin or truly caught in a trap? --- Selling at the lowest point, buying at... wait, this rhythm doesn't seem right. --- Even big players have their missteps. This move is indeed a bit disappointing. --- WBTC liquidates to WETH, it seems they're betting on Ethereum. Retail investors should keep an eye on this. --- Losing nearly 2 million and still calmly switching tracks? This mentality is truly unmatched. --- I just want to know how they judge that WETH will rise and BTC won't? --- Clearing out BTC to switch to WETH, did they see something? Or are they just trying to catch a falling knife? --- Do large transactions provide any insight? Or rather, they serve as a contrarian indicator, haha.

Almost 2 million lost, this move really underperformed Cutting losses to WETH? Seems like they are bearish on Bitcoin Big players are starting to run, retail investors are still in a daze This rhythm feels like a change is coming Escaping from BTC to ETH, the signal is quite clear Losing so much and still daring to switch positions, how much confidence does that take? It's ridiculous, perfectly selling at the top How can there still be people going all in at this level Big players can also get liquidated, who would have thought Wait, is this a bottom-fishing move for ETH? This move looks like a signal of a potential decline
