There is a recent regulatory development to watch out for. Multiple financial associations in Mainland China have jointly issued a risk warning, officially listing RWA (Real-World Asset Tokenization) as a high-risk financial activity.
The core of this document is not about technical aspects; the key point is that many RWA scenarios are directly classified as financing and trading activities. According to the current stance, projects involving the tokenization of assets such as real estate, debt, equity, and others may be deemed illegal fundraising or unapproved securities issuance.
In other words, the concept of RWA faces significant policy pressure regarding compliance. Whether participating in RWA project investments or operating related businesses, a clear understanding of this risk is necessary. It is recommended to conduct thorough compliance assessments before allocating assets of this kind.

Here we go again, RWA directly sidelined? Now the real estate chain is completely out of the picture.

Uh... RWA has been hammered again, and there's really no way to play now.
Life is like a dream, a dream like a collapse of RWA.
Here we go again? Why does it feel like regulatory authorities are watching RWA closely and refusing to let go?
Property tokenization with a one-size-fits-all approach... brothers who still want to make quick money need to wake up.
Now I understand, RWA is a landmine in the country; you can't touch it.

Here we go again, RWA this time has been completely sidelined... Real estate debt and equity can't escape, this time it's really going to blow up.

Here we go again, this wave of RWA is really going to fail. Real estate tokens, debt on the chain—basically, it's disguised financing, and regulators have long been unhappy with this approach.

Here we go again, RWA is directly classified as high risk, and now real estate debt and equity tokenization are all doomed to fail.

Oh no, it's happening again. RWA is really done this time... You can't escape any of the real estate debt, equity, or shares.

Now RWA is really going to cool off. Once the real estate debt and equity are wiped out, no one can escape.

Hmm, here comes another wave of regulation. This wave of RWA probably needs to cool down.

honestly rwa getting nuked by regulators isn't exactly surprising... the correlation between "tokenize everything" enthusiasm and actual compliance frameworks was always gonna be statistically significant at zero. anyone still treating this like a risk-adjusted opportunity probably hasn't done the math on enforcement probability tbh
