Here's a common worry: open source the code and someone just copies it, right? That's the kind of thinking that won't get you far. Truth is, open sourcing doesn't mean losing your edge—execution, community, and being first to scale matter way more than keeping code under wraps. The fear of code theft usually comes from not understanding that real value in crypto projects lies in network effects, tokenomics, and ecosystem momentum, not in hiding source files.

There's nothing to fear about open-sourcing code; the true moat has never been in the source code.

Is the open-source code being copied? This logic is already outdated. The real moat is not in the source code at all. I actually see that the liquidity depth, trading pair design, and token release curves of many projects are the key factors determining success or failure... The arbitrage opportunities created by these data differences are far more valuable than the code itself.

Open source phobia really needs to be addressed. What's the use of copying code? Without an ecosystem, no one will pay attention to you.

Are you afraid of open-source code being copied? Honestly, you're overthinking it. The real money is in the ecosystem and execution capability, not in those source codes.

actually lol, most people saying "but muh code will be copied" haven't run a single regression on what actually drives token adoption. the correlation matrix between open source adoption and project success is... well, let's just say it's statistically significant in the opposite direction of their fear.

ngl open source has really been overcomplicated; copying code? Come on, how well can it be copied... Execution is the key.
