Trading for many years has given me the greatest insights:

1. The trend comes first; any technical or fundamental analysis must obey the trend.
2. The larger the trend, the more irreversible it is; this is the market's unstoppable energy.
3. Focusing on large-scale trends reduces randomness and the chance of being swept out.
4. Trends have initiation cycles; you need to learn to identify the approximate range. Don't be too precise; over-precision becomes obsession, and obsession is a flaw.
5. For large-scale trends, look for small-scale pullbacks to repeatedly confirm; once confirmed, entering the market should be profitable. If your stop-loss is hit, decisively exit; this indicates the market isn't ready yet. You need to wait for the second or third opportunity.
6. As long as the large-scale trend isn't broken and the main upward wave hasn't started, you can try small positions during minor pullbacks, waiting for capital confirmation before adding positions.
7. A large-scale trend is like a big ship; it’s hard to turn around. Don't easily go against the trend by shorting or longing. If you previously saw a bullish trend, stay confident; if bearish, stay firm.
8. Trends are the result of the market's collective effort; they can't be arbitrarily changed by any one person's will.
9. The Book of Changes (I Ching) teaches us to learn how to grasp the momentum and seize the right timing.
