Upbit hacker continues transferring funds to Tornado Cash, involving 1400 ETH

Abstract generation in progress

【Crypto World】The hacker attack on Upbit exchange is still ongoing. According to MistTrack’s on-chain tracking data, the hacker address (starting with 0x93A0) behind this attack, which caused approximately $36 million in losses, is accelerating the transfer of funds. So far, 1,400 ETH have been quietly transferred to Tornado Cash—a privacy-focused mixing protocol. This move indicates that the attacker is attempting to break the trail of fund flow. From on-chain data, every step of the hacker’s operations is monitored by detection systems, but this shift to a mixing tool makes the ultimate destination of the funds ambiguous. Such incidents once again serve as a warning for exchange security and user asset protection.
