Honestly, traditional media's credibility is taking a serious hit these days. When you're in the crypto space, you start realizing how much of mainstream reporting is either outdated, biased, or completely missing the mark on what's actually happening in finance and technology. More people are ditching conventional news sources and hunting for their own info. It's reshaping how we consume everything—especially in decentralized communities where transparency and direct sources matter way more than polished narratives.

Mainstream media should have gone out of business long ago, really.

The traditional media narrative indeed needs to change, but the thing you mentioned about "finding information on your own"... many people still get scammed despite searching around. When auditing contracts, I often see that project teams' promotional materials are stunning, but the actual code has permissions controls that are as loose as a sieve. Transparency of information ≠ trustworthiness of information; someone really needs to verify it.

NGL, the mainstream media's stuff should have been exposed long ago. We've seen through this circle a long time ago.

The traditional media narrative has long fallen behind our pace. Honestly, every time I see mainstream reports, I want to laugh. The speed of change in the crypto world over the past few years is so fast that by the time they react, the flowers have withered. Information asymmetry is an opportunity, and now all the real alpha is in the process of self-discovery.

Seeing this kind of opinion just makes me want to laugh... Traditional media indeed sucks, but the vast majority of retail investors who seek information themselves end up being brainwashed by all kinds of amateur bloggers? It's just a routine that has already taken shape. --- Decentralized communities are highly transparent? The distribution of chips shows that 95% of retail investors are still chasing highs and killing lows, so talking about it is pointless. --- It's a typical retail mentality—"I don't trust CCTV, I trust Twitter influencers," but the conclusion is the same: getting wrecked. --- This wave of comments is interesting, but a close look at market sentiment indicators shows that it's currently the chaos of information causing the biggest chase rallies. The risk hasn't even started to be released yet. --- You're right, but it’s of little use... The key is whether we can extract real technical support from the noise of information, rather than just watching the excitement.

Let me see the data. The traditional media narrative indeed can't keep up with what's happening on the blockchain... But the logic of "everyone is a reporter" also needs to be approached with caution. How can the credibility of the information source itself be guaranteed?

ngl mainstream media stuff is really becoming less and less popular. Staying in the crypto world for a long time makes you realize what information asymmetry really means.

NGL, the traditional media approach is long outdated, and people in the crypto circle are all tired of it.
