Chasing 100x returns is just a gambling argument wrapped in a veneer of science. Most early projects fail due to incentive distortions. They look promising on the surface but are actually poorly managed. They want layer-2 solutions and DeFi innovation at the same time, but end up falling into the same centralized trap, just with a different name. Instead of chasing that illusory 100x, it's better to ask yourself how many times you can afford to lose everything.

ngl this 100x fantasy hits different when you're actually calculating TPS bottlenecks... most of these early projects won't survive the scalability trilemma lol, been there. back in my mining days i'd see the same hype cycle repeating. give me L2 adoption metrics or give me nothing honestly, gas fees are still brutal out here
